Buckle up – let’s talk about Canada’s Freedom Convoy 2022

I laid awake well into the night, wondering if I had been truthful in my social media portrayal of the protests. The next morning I set out to see a bigger picture.

By now you’ve probably heard about Freedom Convoy 2022, the anti-mandate protest taking place in Canada’s capital. In just a few weeks the movement has sparked similar protests across the nation and in more than 20 countries.

Or maybe you haven’t heard much at all, or what you have heard doesn’t seem to paint the whole picture.

As it turns out, there is an important gap in the mainstream and social media coverage of one of Canada’s biggest protests ever.
